Artist Bio
Emma Davies is a professional artist and surfer based in North Devon, drawing inspiration from the rugged landscapes that surround her. Embracing her identity as a self-described square peg in a round hole, she celebrates her unique perspective and unconventional path.
With a successful background in hairdressing, Emma has always nurtured her creativity through various hobbies, including textiles and music. Her work has garnered recognition, with commissioned pieces within the UK and US and auctions supporting the charity Deaf Kidz. She has also completed the Mastery Program at The Milan Art Institute.
In recent years, Emma has navigated significant health challenges, including a severe hearing impairment. This journey prompted her to rediscover her passion for drawing and painting, using art as a means to express and process her experiences. Whether creating landscapes or portraits, she strives to capture the unique spirit and soul of her subjects, inviting viewers to see the world through her eyes.
